Artist’s Comments:

“This versatile piece was painted in late Summer when I was craving Fall weather. I just wanted to summon my favorite seasonal colors, so I meticulously mixed this vermilion, pumpkin, and chartreuse palette. The portrait orientation mimicked an actual “doorway to Autumn”.

I also painted a miniature twin alongside it. My nightstand is its perfect location. At night, the black borders illustrate unwavering security and rock me to sleep. While the warm, bold textures greet me in the morning like a sunrise.”
